Course Introduction:
All HND Computing students must first complete a common first year (HNC Computing: Progression to HND in Computer Science). In their second year, they can choose to specialize in either HND Computer Science. This structure ensures they gain a strong foundation in both fields, allowing them to make informed decisions before specializing.
The HND in Software Development equips students with advanced knowledge and skills essential for a successful career in software technology. The program offers a well-rounded blend of theoretical concepts and hands-on experience in configuring, designing, developing, and maintaining websites, as well as software testing.
Students will study a selection of appropriate units designed to develop student’s skills and competencies to enable further study in a Degree Programme.
